Averas means “to bring into the light.” We believe the fastest way to better customer experiences is by shining a light on what is broken and making it better.
Anuj currently serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Averas. He began Averas with Jason because of problems he encountered while leading the Generative AI program at a Fortune 500 company.
With over 20 years of emerging technology experience, he specializes in helping businesses achieve their objectives. He has an expertise in strategy development, process analysis and optimization, emerging technology (generative AI, conversational AI including natural language processing, intelligent document processing, machine learning, and robotics process automation / RPA).
Anuj holds a Masters of Technology Management and Bachelors of Computer Science degree from Stevens Institute of Technology.
When not working, Anuj enjoys outdoor activities and sports including skiing, racquet sports, and hiking.
Jason currently serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Averas. With over 20 years of software development experience, he specializes in building innovative data products.
Since 2014, Jason has focused exclusively on startup environments, serving as a Data Engineer at Prognos, Roivant Sciences, and later as Director and Lead Data Engineer at Kyber Data Science (subsidiary of TD) for nearly four years, where he worked on critical data pipelines and analytics infrastructure. In 2024, he ventured into entrepreneurship by founding an AI software company, an experience that led to the launch of Averas.
Jason holds a Computer Science degree from Cornell University.
When not working on technology, Jason enjoys spending time with his family. He is also an expert dart player.
